Why is this my first blog, content?, whatever you may want to call it. Well I am not so sure, but introductions are usually a good place to start any relationship which I think that’s what most content on the internet is, a relationship between the content creator an the reader, a way to share one’s thoughts and experiences with someone completely unknown. This sort of thing requires a bit of courage and sometimes trust, again stuff relationships typically require.

So, what do you need to know about me?

My name is Abel and I’m a 28 year old guy that wonders on a day to day basis at what point in life do people usually figure out what they want to do that actually makes them happy. Don’t get me wrong, I am not an unhappy depressed person but as I am sure it happens to a lot of people, very often I find myself wanting do so something else with my life other than what I currently do professionally. That being said I also need to point out that like my job, otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it since I don’t believe that one needs to sacrifice what brings them joy for money. However, what I’m in search for is for whats next…

What’s next?

As I am sure you’ve already gathered by the last paragraph, I’m not so sure about whats next. I recently found out that I quite enjoy putting my thoughts on paper and writing about any subject that comes to mind, which is quite ironic because I was that one student that hated writing and reading in school, it was dreadful having to write essays and don’t let me get started on when there home book assignments, but so is life that I now find myself doing just that. If I am being honest I do not regret not doing any of those things because I did enjoy those years and is not right to take away from that either.

What will I write about?

Anything that comes to mind, my thoughts on subjects, my travels, my hobbies, the things I learn, the things I wish someone had taught me at different points in life. I like the idea of documenting places in great details for anyone that may want to visit them as well and is not sure because of lack of information online. Speaking of hobbies, photography happens to be one of mine and that will be reflected here as well, as the old saying goes, images tell a thousand words which is important for what I want to do because most of the time I will keep my posts at around a 10 minute read ( people got things to do after all 🙂 ), and using pictures and occasionally a very short video if I feel is necessary will allow me to keep things short as well as get my point across.

So… To anyone reading this, nice to meet you and I hope that what I have to say or write about can somehow teach, help or at the very least entertain anyone that comes across my words online.

The title of this post was Who am I? and yes I am well aware that I didn’t answer that question to the fullest extent, but as I said I want to keep things short and I don’t believe you can put an entire person on an essay, besides soon enough through my content anyone that reads it will get to know me rather well.
